Just after I got off the train, I realised this was a fantastic city. The light brown buildings which reminded me of its long history was seen at the middle of a hill. There was a peaceful park in the city centre and people enjoyed the nice sunshine and the clear blue sky. This city can trace its history back to the Roman ages. There is a Roman bath registered as a world heritage. The name of this city, Bath is the origin of 'bath'. The street beside the Roman bath appeared as an impressive scene under the contrast of the sunshine and the shadow. The view from the hill was absolutely awe-inspiring. I'm sure you can't imagine the magnificent scenery from this picture. I couldn't move for a moment when the view jumped into my eyes.

The narrow streets which were winding and also up and down amused me wandering the city without any purpose. I stayed in a YMCA which looked almost impossible to find as it surrounded by buildings and there was a just tiny path for the reception. The typical buildings in Bath were not straight but winding like the streets. The curve was really beautiful and artistic. When you see the whole city from the top of a hill, you realise it very well.
