Stuttgart has one of the most famous Christmas markets in Germany. There were lots of people as I visited there at the last weekend before Christmas. People were drinking hot wine (Gluehwein in German) heated with suger, fruits and spices. The roof of each stall was spectacular. They decorated their stall differently and seemed to compete each other. Next morning, it was snowing. This was a perfect combination, Christmas market and snow! It became much more attractive as the roof was covered with white. It was absolutely fantastic except for freezing air.

Of course, it was worth looking into the stalls but I enjoyed just looking at the decorations. Shopping may be a bit difficult if you cannot speak German. A few words, at least numbers would help you a lot. There're lots of buskers around the market. Particularly, young people played the violins, the cellos or as a trio and a quartet. A little boy concentrated on the music of a bandoneon and a guitar. I was very impressed by the music next to the people. A pool in a park was frozen. Unlike the market, the park was quite silent and I did like the scenery of snowed grass and bare trees. After the busy market, it gave me a peaceful moment.
